QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Frequently asked questions.
What is OmniPicker 3?
OmniPicker 3 is AGIBOT’s next-generation industrial two-finger gripper and the successor to OP1. It combines built-in tactile sensing, force-control algorithms, and IP65 protection for handling, assembly, and sorting. It can also serve as an end effector for humanoid robots.
What are its key technical features?
Built-in tactile sensors and force-control algorithms support constant-force gripping and gentle handling. CAN FD communication offers latency as low as 1 ms, while IP65 protection supports use in demanding industrial environments. SDKs for multiple programming languages support custom development and system integration.
What are the advantages of its mechanical design?
Alloy-steel gears replace the plastic gears used in OP1, with durability validated through 1 million full-load cycles. The one-piece die-cast aluminum-alloy body weighs less than 800 g and achieves a force-to-weight ratio of 175 N/kg. A symmetric transmission provides left–right finger synchronization within ±0.1 mm, and the fingers can be changed in 10 seconds to suit different tasks.
Where can OmniPicker 3 be used?
Industrial applications include handling, assembly, sorting, and inspection in electronics, automotive components, and food packaging. For embodied intelligence, it can be integrated into humanoid robot platforms for home, eldercare, and public-service applications. Research uses include grasping-algorithm development and force-control validation.
What are the main performance specifications?
Maximum gripping force: 140 N. Maximum stroke: 110 ± 5 mm. Positioning repeatability: ±0.1 mm. Opening/closing time over a 0–60 mm stroke: 0.4 s. Protection rating: IP65.
